The Pyraomm Solo Tarp is a 360g masterclass in solo shelter design. Built from 1.1 oz Silpoly 20D Ripstop, it offers a distinct advantage over traditional silnylon: it has significantly lower water absorption and stretch. This means you won’t have to get out of your quilt at 3 AM to re-tension the lines during a rainstorm.
With two ventilation windows and a water-repellent YKK AquaGuard zipper, it manages condensation better than most single-wall tarps. It is a modular 1-person tarp that pairs perfectly with the Solo Mesh to create a full double-wall tent. Ideal for hikers up to 175cm who want a bombproof, wind-resistant pyramid setup.

PyraOmm Solo Tarp is pitching on trekking pole at an angle, or on 2 trekking poles in A-form for increasing an inner living space, or suspended for the top. For setup you need minimum 4 pegs. Stakes and poles are not included. Small packed size and volume.

Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For sealing the seams we recommend sealant based on silicone. Mostly prefer McNett Seam Grip+SIL (earlier known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer).

- Stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular rectangle
- Put the trekking pole at an angle on top or on 2 trekking poles in A-form. Please note that the sharp ends of trekking poles must be covered

We recommend using this shelter if your height is not more than 175 cm. For taller people, the shelter may not be comfortable. If you are taller than 175 cm, we recommend choosing other versions of PyraOmm: either PYRAOMM DUO TARP or PYRAOMM PLUS TARP.
NOTE. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be covered with tips. Or you can put a soft cloth / equipment under the sharp end of the pole. Do not insert the sharp ends of sticks or posts into the top of the shelter. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be insulated to avoid breaking the top of the PyraOmm.
