The Scout Full Mesh is a cavernous bug shelter offering 5.1 square meters of internal space. What makes this inner unique is its variable pole placement: set the pole vertically for a comfortable 2-person setup, or angle the pole into the dedicated tunnel pockets to fit a 3-person team. This versatile group inner ensures that no one is left cramped or exposed to insects.

Built with Nylon NoSeeUm Mesh and reinforced at high-wear points, it weighs only 560g. When paired with the Scout Tarp, it creates a lightweight 3-person double-wall tent that is tall enough (165cm) for most hikers to sit up comfortably, making it an ideal choice for group adventures in buggy environments.

Scout Full Mesh – 3 Persons – Bug Shelter is designed for 3 people. The area of the internal living space is about 5.1 square meters. Reliably protects against insects and adds a few degrees to the overall comfort temperature of the sleeping system.
There are 2 types of installation options for two or three people. For this, the bottom has two tunnel pockets for a stake or trekking poles:

  1. It is installed on a trekking pole / stake in the center – for 2 people.
  2. It is installed on a trekking pole / rack at an angle – for 3 people.

6 pegs are required for minimal installation if installed without an outer tarp. Stakes and pegs are not included.
Pitching with an ultralight tent Scout Tarp 3P you get an ultralight frameless two-layer shelter.
Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For sealing the seams we recommend sealant based on silicone.

SETUP

  1. Stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular hexagon or hook them on to the loops of Scout Tarp 3P.
  2. Put the trekking pole from the inside to the top of the tent vertically, about 165 cm.
  3. With the help of fastex, fix the top of the shelter to the top of the outer tarp;
  4. Tight guy lines for good stretch of shelter.

How to choose a shelter according to your height

NOTE. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be covered with tips. Or you can put a soft cloth / equipment under the sharp end of the pole. Do not insert the sharp ends of sticks or posts into the top of the shelter. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be insulated to avoid breaking the top of the PyraOmm.
