The HKR Pack Ultra 35L (standing for Hiker Pack) represents Liteway’s most radical approach to weight saving. By replacing traditional heavy straps and buckles with 2mm UHMW PE cord, they have created a 35L pack that weighs as little as 314 grams when stripped down. Built from Ultra™ 100, this pack is exceptionally light but retains the 97% UV resistance and waterproof film backing the Ultra range is known for.
This ultralight gray backpack is for the hiker who wants to concentrate exclusively on the trail. It features six additional pockets, including stretch pockets on the shoulder straps for soft flasks or electronics. It is a pure, frameless hiking pack that turns the simple act of walking into a more effortless experience.

Ultralight backpack HKR PACK ULTRA 35L – is a very simple and minimalist grey backpack for true ultralight hikers.
HKR stands for Hiker Pack.
We started testing this backpack in 2021. Several variations and a bunch of prototypes and here is the most minimalist backpack, with a minimum of accessories and lightweight buckles and straps. Instead of some traditional straps, it is now a 2mm UHMW PE cord. This should allow you to concentrate exclusively on the trail and enjoy the stunning views of the mountains.
The backpack design has a simple RollTop loading design for quick access and easy volume adjustment. Many additional pockets for quick access, convenient placement and easy packing of equipment.
The backpack helps to improve your speed, efficiency, increase hiking distance and pleasure from the mountains. Perfect choice for those who want to save every gram in their gear.
Ultra™ 100 is the woven fabric is 67% UHMWPE and 33% Repreve recycled polyester. The proprietary Challenge RUV recycled film backing is 100% recycled and 97% UV Resistant. Every yard of Ultra™ 100 saves over one pound of CO2, compared to Nylon pack fabric.
The main material (fabric) of the backpack is 100% waterproof, but please, pay attention that the seams of the backpack are not sealed. This means that the backpack is not waterproof.
