The Illusion Duo Tent is a masterclass in weight-saving engineering, providing a 2-person shelter at a full weight of just 895g. This single-layer ultralight tent is pitched using two trekking poles, offering exceptional wind resistance and a generous internal volume of 2.76 square meters. Made from 1.1 oz Levitex Silpoly, it balances waterproof performance with minimal pack size.
With dual entrances and YKK AquaGuard zippers, it provides easy access and ventilation for both occupants. We recommend this trekking pole tent for hikers up to 190cm tall who want a fast-pitching shelter for bikepacking or UL hiking. Note that the seams are non-sealed, allowing you to customize your weatherproofing with a silicone-based sealant for maximum reliability.

Illusion Duo Tent is an ultra lightweight one-layer tent for UL hiking and bike packing adventures. Low weight is perfectly combined with a large internal volume and excellent wind resistance. The tent is designed for two people. The shelter has 2 entrances on a water-repellent YKK zipper. The area of ​​internal living space is about 2,76 square meters, the area of a vestibules 1,64 sq. m. (0,82 sq.m. each). The Illusion Duo can be pitched on two trekking poles or stakes.
For minimal installation only 6 pegs are required. Pegs and trekking poles are not included in the set. Small packed size and volume.
Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For seams’ sealing we recommend sealant based on silicone. Mostly prefer McNett Seam Grip+SIL (earlier known as McNett Silnet Seam Sealer).
SETUP
- Stretch the corners with pegs
- Set up two trekking poles 130cm length. Special pockets are provided for installing poles at the top of the tent and at the bottom of the tent. Note the sharp ends of the trekking poles must be covered
- Tight the guy lines for a tension wind stability of the tent
- To increase the internal living space, we additionally install guy lines on additional loops
